OOMPAH MUSIC - The parishes of Ullingswick and Little Cowarne are presenting a spring Bavarian evening at Pencombe and Little Cowarne Village Hall on Saturday, April 10, at 7pm. Tickets, at £6 and £4, are now available from 07812 566630 or 07976 284117. A traditional Bavarian dinner will be included. Bavarian dress will be optional.

FUNRIDE - There will be a fun ride on Saturday, April 10,starting from Panks Bridge Farm, Much Cowarne. First horse 10am, last horse 1pm. The ride will be over 10 miles of farmland and green lanes with scenic views and minimal roadwork. Refreshments are available. Adults £15, under-16s £10, with under-12s accompanied please. MORRIS DANCING AND TRACTOR RUN - To celebrate a number of birthdays, Silurian Morris will be performing at Much Cowarne church from noon to 2pm on Saturday, April 10. All are welcome to watch. This will be followed by a vintage tractor run leaving Much Cowarne church at 2pm, arriving at 7pm at the Wheatsheaf Inn, Fromes Hill, via the Wheelrights Arms at Pencombe and the Rose and Lion in Bromyard. Silurian Morris will dance at Pencombe at approximately 2.30pm and at the Rose and Lion at approximately 4.15pm Then they will be at the Wheatsheaf Inn, from 7pm to 8.30pm. At 8.30pm there will be a firework display behind the Wheatsheaf Inn. All are welcome and there will be no charge but those attending will be invited to contribute to the charity buckets in support of the Midlands Air Ambulance and local hospice. From 9pm there will be an open music session at the Wheatsheaf Inn. All acoustic musicians will be welcome.
