Police are treating a fire that ripped through a hotel in north Herefordshire last night as suspicious.
A number of fire crews were called to The Bringewood Hotel in Burrington at 11pm and spent the night tackling the blaze.
It is estimated that hundreds of thousands of pounds of damage was caused to the building.
No one was thought to be in the hotel at the time.
Pete Butcher, police press officer, said that at this stage it is being treated as suspicious and forensic officers will continue to assess the scene throughout today.
Anyone with any information can call Sergeant Nick Green at Leominmster Police Station on 0300 333 3000.
