"GIFTS that keep on giving" are top of the list in Hay-on-Wye next month at the Fairtrade Christmas Fair.
A wide selection of ethically sourced and fairly traded goods from around the world will go on sale at the Buttermarket on December 19 between 10am and 5pm.
Julia Roberts, from Fairtrade Hay, explained: "Fairly traded means the makers are given a fair price, so can help trade their way out of poverty - which is why gifts you buy will not only be loved by the receiver, but will help benefit the maker, their families and their communities too."
Hay mayor Fiona Howard will officially open the event before pupils from Hay Primary School sing Christmas Carols alongside sales of mulled wine and mince pies.
