VILLAGERS near Ledbury are looking at creating links with Italy.
Plans to twin Bosbury with an Italian commune have been formally discussed by parish councillors.
Resident Rob Edwards has suggested twinning the village with Trevi nel Lazio, which lies 40 miles east of Rome.
The Hospice Angel travelled to the community in May to meet villagers who harboured a relative during the war.
Bosbury Parish Council said the scheme was “definitely worth a look” after meeting Mr Edwards.
But they want feedback from the village – and will include the question in January’s parish plan questionnaire.
Councillors may get advice from their counterparts in Ludlow - just one of a handful of British towns that has an Italian twin.
A link with Bosbury Primary School is also possible.
