ORGANISERS behind Hay-on-Wye’s twinning initiative with Timbuktu are asking local women to spice up their life for the cause.
“Girls, mums and grannies” are invited to take a bag and a bottle to a curry and clothes night this Saturday in aid of Hay2Timbuktu’s Maternal Health Project.
Proceeds from the Llanigon Hall bash, when clothes donated by the audience will be auctioned off, will go towards improving medical provisions for women in West Africa.
Tickets costing £6 will be available on the door for 8pm and guests must bring their own wine.
