Remembrance Sunday: 10.40am parade from the eastern end of St Owen’s Street to the War Memorial in St Peter’s Square.
Councillors and officials will take part in a wreath-laying and remembrance service, overseen by Rev Preb Paul Towner, of St Peter’s, and the Mayor’s Chaplain, Rev Philip Roberts.
Various services follow in the cathedral and other city churches.
Armistice Day (Wednesday): Rev Philip Roberts will lead an act of remembrance and two minutes’ silence at the War Memorial.
Hereford Ex-Services Association will hold a short service of remembrance on Armistice Day on Wednesday at the War Memorial in St Martin’s Street at 11am. Last Post will be sounded and wreaths laid.
LEOMINSTER
Remembrance Sunday: Parade gathers around 10.30am on the corner of Broad Street and Church Street, ahead of 11am service at Priory Church. Wreath-laying follows at the War Memorial, ahead of a return march to the Royal British Legion.
Wednesday: Act of remembrance at the War Memorial.
ROSS-ON-WYE
Remembrance Sunday: Parade gathers around 10.30am at The Prospect, for wreath-laying and 11am silence at the War Memorial. A service follows at St Mary’s Church.
Wednesday: Act of remembrance at the Heritage Centre.
LEDBURY
Remembrance Sunday: Parade from St Katherine’s to War Memorial, High Street, for wreath-laying and 11am silence.
Service follows at St Michael & All Angels’ Church.
Wednesday: Act of remembrance at the War Memorial.
Saturday: A coffee morning for Help for Heroes is at 10am at the Conquest Theatre. Bromyard Platoon of the Army Cadet Force will also pack bags for the charity at the Tenbury Road Co-operative store throughout the day.
Remembrance Sunday: Parade at 2.45pm at Tenbury Road car park for 3pm service at St Peter’s.
Wednesday: Act of remembrance at Public Hall Garden.
KINGTON
Remembrance Sunday: Parade gathers 10.30am at the town clock for wreath-laying and 11am silence at the war memorial. Service follows at the Baptist Church.
Wednesday: Act of remembrance at the War Memorial.
HAY-ON-WYE
Remembrance Sunday: Parade starts 2.30pm at the Cenotaph for service at St Mary’s Church. Wreath-laying takes place 4pm at the Cenotaph. Spectators and participants welcome in the Royal British Legion afterwards.
