BOOKINGS for a village hall built after a 12-year fund-raising scheme by villagers near Hay-on-Wye are now being taken.
Organisers behind the effort, which saw around £30,000 donated by Cusop residents alone, are offering the Lower Mead site for use from November.
Funds recouped will help service a £50,000 loan guaranteed by hall trustees to ensure the project went ahead.
Three four-hour sessions, between 9am and 11pm, are available at a rate of £12 for locals and £15 for others. For more details, email villagehall@cusop.net.
