A camping ground has won first place in a national survey.

The Camping and Caravanning Club Hereford, in Little Tarrington, was voted top by campers taking part in a Club Care Insurance study of cleanliness and customer service at more than 100 sites countrywide.

Franchisee Bill Sayer, who scooped the David Welsford Memorial Award and won £500, said he was extremely proud of his team and thrilled customers gave such great feedback. The Little Millpond site is open to both members and non-members.
