WITNESSES are being sought to assist coroners in the investigation of the death of a city woman.
Helen Milloy, aged 42, died in the Queen Elizabeth Hospital in Birmingham on Wednesday July 1 following a fall in the King George V playing fields the previous Saturday (June 27).
Ms Milloy was going to have a paddle in the River Wye when she bumped into a lady on the bank.
Her momentum caused her to fall, but she was helped to her feet by her uncle and the other lady.
Ms Milloy returned to the footpath, seemingly uninjured, but after a few minutes felt unwell.
Another lady stopped to help and called for an ambulance.
She was treated at Hereford County Hospital before being transferred to Birmingham where she subsequently died.
If you are the lady Ms Milloy bumped into or the first aider who helped her or you know who they are please contact Nigel Phillips at Hereford Police Station on 0300 333 3000 (extension 4851).
