A TEENAGER was sexually assaulted by the River Wye in Hereford.

A 14-year-old girl was slapped on her bottom between 7.30pm and 8.30pm last Monday (July 6) when she was walking near the Old Bridge.

The victim spoke to a passer-by and after a short while the man walked down the path in the direction he had come.

The suspect is described as a white male, about 30 years old, 5ft 10ins tall, with short brown hair and stocky build.

He was wearing a white hooded top and a pair of three quarter length combat bottoms.
