Man admits teenager's murder

A MAN has pleaded guilty to murdering Hereford teenager Daren Loader.

Virunas Kalasnikovas, aged 23, and Andrej Mackevic, aged 27, appeared at Worcester Crown Court this morning on charges of murder and causing grievous bodily harm.

The Lithuanians, of no fixed address, were charged following the death of Mr Loader on March 17.

The Whitecross teenager was attacked on the Great Western Way the evening before, along with a female friend.

Kalasnikovas admitted both charges, while Mackevic pleaded not guilty.

No date has been set for sentencing or the latter’s trial.

Both men have been remanded in custody.

Around 20 family members and friends of Mr Loader watched the plea and case management hearing.
