St Owens Cross accident - teenager airlifted to hospital

A TEENAGER was taken to hospital following an accident in south Herefordshire yesterday.

All the emergency services were called to the A4137 at St Owens Cross shortly after 7.30am.

The 17-year-old was driving a black Renault Clio that left the road and collided with a wall, causing it to overturn.

He had had serious spinal injuries and was airlifted to Bristol’s Frenchay Hospital.

He is currently in a stable condition.
