Leominster Primary and Infant School, Minster College, Westfield School and the Priory Pupil Referral Unit closed

HEREFORDSHIRE Council have confirmed a number of school and road closures following last night’s blaze.

Southern Avenue, Worcester Road and Etnam Street have been closed until further notice.

The A49 between the Mill Street roundabout and the A44 Worcester Road roundabout is also shut to motorists.

South Street and the B4361 are open, but may close should conditions worsen.

Leominster Primary and Infant School, Minster College, Westfield School and the Priory Pupil Referral Unit are also closed.

Carla Preston, council press officer, said some refuse collections could also be affected by the restrictions.

All trains through Leominster have been cancelled until further notice, along with several bus services.
