PARISH PLAN – Vowchurch & District Group Parish Council is proceeding with a parish plan and a steering group has been formed. This will meet on Thursday, March 5, at St John’s Room, Newton, at 7.30pm. If any residents are interested in joining they will be very welcome.
TURNASTONE – There will be a quiz night on Friday, February 20, at Vowchurch & Turnastone Memorial Hall at 7.30pm. The charge will be £7, including a light supper. No more than six in a team. Proceeds in aid of Turnastone Church.
MICHAELCHURCH – The Escleyside Gardening Club has its first meeting for 2009 on Wednesday, March 4, at 7.30pm at the Escleyside Hall. The speaker is Richard Pim of Westbury Water Gardens and he will have plants to sell. New members welcome.
