A GROUP of young dudes that put Hereford on the musical map have added another date to their comeback tour.
Mott the Hoople will play a third concert at the Hammersmith Apollo due to overwhelming public demand.
Tickets for the comeback gigs on October 2 and 3 sold out within days after attracting fans from Sweden to Canada.
A third date, October 1, has been added to the show, but tickets are expected to sell quickly.
The band’s original line-up - Ian Hunter, Mick Ralphs, Pete ‘Overend Watts’, Verden Allen and Dale ‘Buffin’ Griffin - will perform in London. The band last played 35 years ago, while the gigs coincide with the 40th anniversary of the group.
Tickets are available from ticketmaster and various outlets, priced £35 to £42 on average.

I would also like to congratulate another local band Neil Ivison & The Misers who have recently recorded their latest album at the famous Rockfieled Studios at Monmouth. Here he is doing his own version of All The Young Dudes
