WEST Midlands Division 1 League table-toppers Westside have received a boost after securing a sponsorship deal with Hereford company Special Metals Wiggin.

The city side face Birmingham-based Bournville on Saturday having had a week off due to the Schools’ Regional Competition.

“We are confident with our current form and hope to maintain top spot for the rest of the season but are well aware that the teams around us are within reach and also performing well,” said captain Jaydee Hunt.

“Some pressure has been released from the team by securing sponsorship from Wiggin. We would like to thank them for their financial backing, support and interest in our success.”
