A GRADUATION ceremony for trainee teachers is to take place in Hereford tonight.

The Initial Teacher Education Graduation Evening, organised by the Robert Owen Society, will be at the Royal National College for the Blind (RNC)at 7pm.

The ceremony will include more than 200 trainee teachers who have graduated over the summer to become qualified teachers with many already starting their first teaching positions.

The certificates and awards will be presented by Chris Geyton, from Excellence in Business, including the co-operative champion, co-operative organisation and co-operative worker awards.
