CHILDREN are being encouraged to help celebrate the wildlife of a Leominster churchyard.
Charity Caring for God’s Acre are asking budding artists to paint, draw, or collage a poster on the theme of ‘Plants and Animals of the Priory’.
“The Priory site has a wonderful collection of mature trees and mown grassland with longer grass in the margins, which together provide food and shelter for many different birds, bats, small mammals, insects and butterflies,” said manager Sue Cooper.
Youngsters can be as creative as they like with their designs, and full details are available from Leominster Library or the charity’s office in West Street.
