A CHARITY’S new Info Café will be officially opened in Leominster next Friday (November 7).
Gwyneth Rock, a long-standing resident of Townsend Court, Leominster, will unveil the service, which replaces the old Age Concern Leominster and District shop in West Street.
Money raised by Townsend Court at their annual August fete helped pay for the refurbishment.
The centre is equipped witha computer, leaflets, details of all the charity’s autumn activities and trained Age Concern officers.
• Age Concern’s footcare service is being expanded - more clinics are being run and the service is now open to well-controlled diabetics.
A referral from a GP is needed and each appointment is £5.
To access the service contact any of Herefordshire’s Age Concern centres or call The Herefordshire Gateway on 0800 195 4550.
