FIREFIGHTERS were called to a house fire in north Herefordshire yesterday.
The fire was caused by a halogen light which had fallen against plywood in the attic of the Hatfield home.
It was put out by the home-owners before crews from Leominster and Bromayrd arrived just after 7pm.
Alec Mackie, for the fire service, said it may have been indirectly caused by the earthquake which hit Bromyard last night.
