Hereford road's final phase

THE final phase of Hereford’s Rotherwas access road project should be completed by the end of this month.

A 7.5-tonne weight restriction on Holme Lacy Road is expected to boost use of the access road.

The restriction needs to be signposted on both Holme Lacy Road and the A49 before it can be implemented. New signs have had to be specially ordered.

Once the signs are up, the restriction – subject to enforcement – will put all Rotherwas-bound heavy traffic onto the access road.
