A FORMER Ledbury town councillor has appeared in court on child abuse charges.
Martin Eager, aged 50 of St Cuthbert’s, The Homend, faces three charges of sexual activity with a minor.
The charges relate to alleged offences between January 1, 2004, and December 31, 2005.
Eager entered no plea during a short hearing at Hereford Magistrates Court last Friday. He has been given conditional bail and will appear at Worcester Crown Court on September 15.
