This is another example of the police and licencing authorities combining to make events this year almost impossible to put on. Since the shooting of a Hells Angel last year numerous events including those not related to bikers have been found to be almost impossible to complete the licencing. The fact that a local footpath used by very few people was not adequately notified by the organisers is not an excuse for hundreds of musicians traders and local businesses to be made to suffer for the 'jobs worth' types in the local council and police force. A massive amount of money has been lost to the local communities, a fact that should be well noted by those who live in tha area, both now and in the future, as people will remember to keep clear of places that they know will pull the plug at the last minute!
