A MAN who took a short cut across railway lines had to be rescued after becoming suspended from a six foot fence by his foot over the weekend.
Hereford fire crews were called to a play area off Vernon Williams Close after the man, who was hanging upside down, called them from his mobile phone last Saturday night.
One fire engine went to the scene at around 11.50pm and freed him.
