Hay couple celebrate 70 years

A COUPLE living in Hay-on-Wye have celebrated their 70th wedding anniversary.
John and Constance Woodall were both raised and lived in Wolverhampton before they moved to Glasbury-on-Wye in 1998 to be with their son John and his partner Gwyneth.
The couple have been cared for in Cartref Care Home since 2005.
John, aged 97, said the secret to a long and happy marriage is to try and live the Christian life.
