Hereford police choir makes Last Choir Standing final 15

HEREFORD Police Male Choir has won its way through to the last 15 in the BBC1 reality TV show Last Choir Standing.

The choir, which was formed in 1957, will sing for its place in the knockout stages on Saturday, July 26.

Insp Dave Coulson, who has been a member of the choir for over 20 years, said in the last round the choir sang An American Trilogy, which went down well with the judges.

“They said we had all the elements of a great choir, which was obviously very pleasing to hear,” he said.

“We’re all looking forward to our next trip down to London and performing in the heats, hopefully our performance will be good enough to take us through to the final six choirs.”
