A FLYING pig and a fairy were seen making their way into Hereford in the name of a cause close to their hearts.
Alison Crick and her daughter Katherine Addison strapped on their wings to raise money for the National Autism Society.
Alison’s eldest daughter Victoria has Asperger’s syndrome and the outfits were worn to raise awareness of autistic conditions.
“Most people on the spectrum don’t understand the literal meaning of many popular phrases such as ‘when pigs fly’ and ‘away with the fairies’,” she said.
The pair walked from Credenhill to Hereford and raised around £250.
