A taste of life as a teacher

Comments (0)A LEOMINSTER-based group is offering would-be teachers a taste of life in the classroom.
The Robert Owen Society will be running three-day teacher taster courses at its learning academy on the Minster College site.
The society is looking for men interested in primary school teaching and anyone looking at teaching maths, science, religious education, foreign languages or design and technology at secondary level.
Ideally, candidates will be intending to apply to train to teach within a year.
The society is holding an open day on May 28, from 10am to 1pm, for people to drop in and talk about the courses.
