COMMUNITY First Responders across Herefordshire and Worcestershire have helped raise almost £1500.
The funds, which will help buy new kits and defibrillators across the two counties, were raised in a raffle that included a prize of a dinner-for-two at the House of Commons - donated by Hereford MP Paul Keetch.
Mr Keetch was at the Bransford Ambulance Control Centre, near Worcester, to give a demonstration of a defibrillator and to speak of his own cardiac arrest experience onboard a flight to the US last summer.
