Spruce up urged for competition

CITY centre businesses are being urged to spruce up their premises in preparation for Hereford’s annual Floral Decorations Competition.

Organisers Herefordshire Council and Hereford City Council are hoping retailers will make the city more colourful and vibrant for residents and visitors in anticipation of the contest this summer.
Geoff Dimbylow, special projects officer, said: “You do not have to contact anyone to formally enter the competition, if we see a display it will automatically be judged.”
