LITTLE Chloe Woodfield came into the world eight weeks too early, weighing just 3lb 8oz.
Now she is a thriving eight-month-old little girl and her family put it all down to the Special Care Baby Unit (SCBU) at Hereford County Hospital.
“They were absolutely wonderful,” said Chloe’s mum, Elisabeth Browne.
Now, she and her sister Vicky Woodfield want to do something for SCBU in return, just to say thank you.
They know the unit needs oxygen saturation monitors and are planning a summer ball and charity auction to raise money to try to buy some.
Tickets are £55, which will include a three-course meal, wine and live entertainment.
The ball is at the Three Counties Hotel on August 22 and tickets are available from the hotel and Fred Bulmer Centre. For details, visit scbusummerball.homestead.
