BBC BREAKFAST CHALLENGE!!!!

I have only just got back from Hereford where I took part in one of the most demanding challenges I have ever had to face, and in good nature!!!

Earlier on this morning I happened to pop into the BBC Hereford and Worcester offices where I met up with Nichola Goodwin, Nichola happened to phone Howard Bentham who happens to present the weekday breakfast show from 7-10..

As luck have it, of all days!!! Howard asked Nichola to present me with a Fitness challenge so that he can try and beat on tomorrow's show (12/03), the challenge was 30 seconds of Press Ups, then 30 seconds of Sit-Ups, and to finish off the killer Squat Thrusts...., all in my very smart civvies, not my fitness attire!

This hideous challenge was thrust upon me but being the complete pro that I am, I just shrugged my shoulders and went straight into it, so in the end with very short recovery I managed to achieve a highly credible 58Press Ups, 37 Sit-Ups (And a few carpet burns for the memories), and 49 Squat Thrusts to finish it off (I must admit my legs were burning over the last ten seconds, but I thought of the great Brian Jacks of Superstars fame, and his spirit was with me right to the very end), shame I didn't break 50 but hey I beat my age...., i'd like to see some of the young guys do that, they would struggle!!

Nichola was absolutely brilliant along with the rest of the team, they made me feel so welcome and as for Howard I truly wish him all the best, though the sit ups target I set is well within his reach, and he'll probably be in his lycra sportswear..Thank you once more Nichola and we will catch up again very soon.

Right, enough said, i'm off for my long Radox bath and I will catch up with you all again real soon.

Remember, if you have any fitness questions at all, then please fire away, I will be only too happy to answer them.

Best Regards
Ged Musto
