A NEW railway guide featuring Hereford was launched on a train headed for the city.
The fold-out guide, from the Cotswold & Malverns Transport Partnership, was launched on the Cotswold & Malvern Line, which links Oxford, Evesham, Worcester, Malvern and Hereford.
It highlights things to do and places to see on the line and features a large map, helpful information about buses and trains and details on how to explore the two areas of outstanding natural beauty.
Councillor Brian Wilcox, Herefordshire Council's cabinet member for highways and transportation, said: "A lot of work has gone into producing this first ever guide.
"I hope people will make use of it when thinking about a day trip or short break."
The guide is available free at First Great Western and London Midlands stations, council offices, libraries and tourist information centres.
