Staff donate to county scheme

STAFF at a Hereford firm have donated more than £300 to a county Wheels to Work scheme.
Workers at Pertemps People Development Group, who help unemployed people back into long-term, sustainable employment, now operate a Give As You Earn scheme, with donations coming straight from their wages each week.
Wheels to Work supports people who find it difficult to get to work or training either by public or private transport.
A moped loan scheme, subsidised driving lessons, travel grants, bicycle loans and general travel planning are among the services on offer.
Wheels to Work is funded by the Herefordshire Access to Services Partnership, through Herefordshire Council and Advantage West Midlands.
