Hereford bowlers celebrate centenary

THE Mayor of Hereford will celebrate 100 years of bowling at the city’s Castle Green tomorrow.
The Castle Green Bowling Club are holding an open day at 2.30pm, when Councillor Chris Chappell will formally open the green for the forthcoming season.
A floral tribute marking the club’s centenary year is being created by Hereford City Council for a site near the Castle Pool.
