Tackling the "modesty malaise"

A CALL for Herefordshire companies to promote themselves more has been made at a business conference in Hereford today.
Mick Laverty, speaking at the event hosted by Herefordshire Council and Herefordshire and Worcestershire Chamber of Commerce, told the Courtyard audience the county suffered from "modesty malaise".
Mr Laverty, who is chief executive of Advantage West Midlands, said this resulted in the county and its businesses needing to promote themselves more.
The conference is held in partnership with regional development agency Advantage West Midlands and the Hereford Times.
