MORE than a dozen county eateries have been rated for their hygiene standards.
The cleanliness of Herefordshire kitchens has been investigated in the Scores on the Doors Scheme.
Of the 600 outlets rated - five stars being excellent, no stars being very poor - almost half received two or less, while 18 picked up none.
The national scheme, carried out in Herefordshire by environmental health officers, aims to give diners confidence in eating, while getting poor performers to raise their game.
To view all the eateries' scores, visit the council's website at www.herefordshire.gov.uk or www.scoresonthedoors.org.uk or text the name and location of a business to 60060.
