ANOTHER senior opposition councillor has hit out at the way Herefordshire Council handled the release of its draft schools closure programme.
Councillor Bob Matthews, leader of the authority's Independent group, said the controlling Tory cabinet should take full responsibility for the "damage done" before the programme was suspended yesterday (Monday).
"The blow to staff morale and the worry caused to parents and pupils alike will take years to put right," said Coun Matthews
