Hereford Fire Station have reported a relatively quiet weekend despite numerous firework and bonfire events.
On Friday night, a dog was left traumatised after a firework was lit and thrown into the garden of a property in Hereford.
Luckily the animal was not injured but she was left very frightened by the experience and her owner is appealing for more information.
Hereford Fire Station watch manager Boris Borkowski confirmed that two appliances were called to Tram Inn on the Pontrilas road at 6pm on Saturday evening to extinguish an unattended bonfire.
He added that two appliances were also called to the cricket pavilion in Widemarsh Common at 3am on Sunday morning.
They had received reports of a small bonfire but it had gone out by the time they arrived at the scene.
