Four people escaped unhurt from a property in Leominster this morning after a tumble dryer caught fire.
Fire crews were called to a house in Portna Way, Barons Cross at around 3.50am.
Two crews from Leominster fire station, one crew from Kingsland and an appliance with a turntable ladder from Hereford attended the scene.
On their arrival the property was well alight and breathing apparatus was used by fire fighters.
Leominster watch manager Bryan Rogers said that the property was fitted with smoke alarms which alerted the occupants to the fire and saved their lives.
