SPEED indicator devices could be installed at various locations in Ledbury this summer, as the town council looks to crack down on motorists exceeding the speed limit.
This is not the first time in recent years when SIDs have been installed along local roads, and councillors are seeking data from the Herefordshire Council contractor, Balfour Beatty, concerning information gathered by previous SIDs in the town.
The town council will also discuss with the highways authority, Herefordshire Council, as to when town-council funded SIDS should go.
But favoured locations at present include Parkway, The Ross Road and The Southend, above the entrance of the John Masefield High School.
A traffic management report for the town could also be commissioned, and quotes for this are to be sought from three consultants.
