A new form of gentle exercise is being made available to the over 50s of north Herefordshire.
Age Concern Leominster and District are running a series of Extend classes, a specially designed form of exercise for older people which can be standing or chair-based.
The six weekly classes, which will be taken by professional Extend and Tai Chi instructor Jan Malcolmson, aim to improve the balance and co-ordination of participants, which can help to prevent falls.
The sessions take place on September 27, October 4, 11 and 25, November 1 and 8 in the training room behind the Age Concern premises in West Street, Leominster.
To book your place, contact Helen Clarke on 01568 611054 or drop in. Each session costs £2.50, which is payable on the day.
