THE serial murderer who went on to stab two men in Hereford has allegedly tried to kill herself in prison after making a suicide pact with her lesbian lover.
Joanna Dennehy, 35, is believed to have been found covered in blood with a slit throat after a failed suicide attempt – while her girlfriend had cut her wrists.
The notorious killer was given a life sentence after stabbing three men to death in Peterborough in 2013.
She then travelled to Hereford where she randomly attacked Robin Bereza and John Rogers in two separate incidents.
Both were walking their dogs when the attacks happened in the Hunderton and Whitecross areas of the city.
The Sun newspaper said today that prison guards at HMP Bronzefield found Dennehy entwined with another woman on the floor, which was covered in blood.
They were both rushed to hospital where their injuries were treated, the tabloid added.
A prison spokesman said he could not comment on individual prisoners.
