THE second annual Plant Fair at St Michael's Hospice in Bartestree will kick-off the early May Bank Holiday.
The free event on May 4-5 (11am-5pm) will celebrate the joy of gardening with plant lovers having the chance to browse a wide range of herbaceous perennials, bedding plants, annuals, trees, shrubs, alpines, bulbs, carnivorous and indoor plants grown by professional and amateur gardeners.
A number of schools around the county are helping out by growing plants and flowers for the fair, while a number of exhibitors are also set to attend.
Light refreshments will be available all day on both days. Two-course lunches will be served between noon and 2pm each day, no booking necessary.
