A MICRO-PUB proudly free of all mod-cons could soon be coming to Ross-on-Wye.
The Vine Tap Ltd, from Ledbury, are the applicants looking to change the use of the empty retail shop in Millpond Street.
The site was previously a licensed premises, known as the Tap House, and formed part of the Alton Court Brewery which closed in 1956.
In its planning application, seeking a change of use, the Vine Tap say a Micro Pub is a "quiet drinking area for mature singles and couples with no music, fruit machines or other electronic devices".
"Real ale will be served from traditional hand pumps with lager, spirits and wine also served," the applicants state.
