A RALLY involving over 100 MG cars has helped raise £3,000 for a county charity.

The Herefordshire MG Car Owners Club attracted 127 entrants - which included vehicles from 1947 to the present day - for their 83-mile annual charity run which passed through Abergavenny and the Brecon Beacons before finishing at the Pilgrim Hotel at Much Birch.

The money will go to the Megan Baker House charity near Leominster, who provide conductive education for disabled children.

The Herefordshire MG Club meets at 7.30pm on the first Monday of each month at The Hickory Stick just off the A49 near Leominster.
