LUDLOW will be hoping to play their first game in a month when they head to FC Darlaston on Saturday in Division Two of the West Midlands League.

And it is the start of a vital run of games on the road for Luke Hicks’ side with a Shropshire Cup clash at Coven and trips to mid-table sides Bewdley Town Reserves and Market Drayton Town Reserves on the horizon.

The pick of this weekend’s games in the Herefordshire League sees Tenbury United head to Hinton knowing that victory could edge them closer to Premier Division leaders Fownhope. And they are back in action on Tuesday when they head to basement boys Hereford Lads Club Reserves.

Orleton Colts face a tough trip to Fownhope and a visit to Leominster Town on Wednesday while Tenbury Town are at home to Leominster on Saturday and at Hinton on Wednesday. In Division One, Saturday sees Ludlow Town Colts at home to Hinton Reserves.

Clee Hill United head to Shifnal United in the Premier Division of the Shropshire League and Craven Arms Town are at home to Gobowen Celtic.
