WELLINGTON Rangers took advantage of Kington Town Reserves not playing by thrashing Orleton Colts 9-1 and go top of the HFA County League Premier Division.

James Price led the way with a hat-trick, while Tom Bendall and Peter Wall both netting braces.

The win sees Welly open up a three point lead at the top, but Kington have two games in hand and the two sides face each other at the end of the month.

Westfields Reserves have joined Kington on 27 points, albeit having played a game more, after beating Ledbury Town 3-2.

Zac Sirrell, Ben Thomas and Jamie Wilding were the Westfields scorers.

Fownhope have now lost two games in a row after going down 2-0 to Hinton.

A Brad Matthews penalty and a Kane Nicholls strike were enough to in the game for Stu Jones' side.

Ewyas Harold have given themselves a chance of catching the leading pack after thrashing Leominster Town 6-0.

Will Lindesay scored four of the goals, with Curtis Bounds and Luke Price also on target.

Holme Lacy are up to sixth after two goals from Chris Freddi saw them see off Tenbury United 2-1.

Meanwhile at the foot of the division, Hereford Lads Club Reserves were on the wrong end of a 5-4 thriller at Tenbury Town despite Jack Harding's hat-trick.

There were plenty of goals in Division One, with leaders Kingstone Rovers netting 16 of them at home to Ewyas Harold Reserves.

Stuart Mills netted eight of the goals, with Marc Avery also helping himself to four.

Wellington Colts also had their scoring boots on, with Jack Tomlinson's five goals helping them hammer bottom club Fownhope Reserves 10-0.

Elsewhere, Jordan Manns and Michael Sparey scored for Hinton Reserves in a 2-1 win at Ledbury Town Reserves, while Weston-under-Penyard beat Orleton Colts Reserves by the same scoreline.

Meanwhile, Division Two joint leaders Bartestree Reserves and Belmont Wanderers both won 3-0.

Bartestree beat Kington Colts while Belmont overcame Civil Service.

There were also wins for Bromyard Downs, Credenhill and Newent Town Reserves.
