Firefighters tackled a blaze in a thatched roof in Eardisland on Christmas night.
Crews from Kingsland, Leominster, Kington, Leintwardine, Eardisley, Ledbury and Peterchurch attended.
Threee water jets were played onto the fire. Compressed air foam was also used.
Thatch was cut away from the roof to check for further hotspots after the fire was extinguished.
Crew from Peterchurch said it had been a "long night".
