A COUPLE stuck in flood water were rescued by fire fighters from Hereford.
The couple were stranded in their car on the Wellington side of Marden and were helped out by fire service personnel.
The incident was reported at around 6.32pm this morning and two fire engines and an all-terrain vehicle carrying a boat attended.
Chris Fairley, watch manager at Hereford Fire Station, said: "If people are not sure of the depth of water we urge them not to risk driving through it because it can divert resources that may be needed elsewhere."
